Brecourt Manor standard AAS layer is made to represent the historical event. It is unique and so requires an explanation.
For US side the battle is divided in three stages:
Stage 1: Infantry assault
There are no vehicles at start and one simple objective - assault and secure German artillery positions.
Stage 2: Brecourt Manor
After artillery positions are secured, transport trucks and jeeps arrive. Build a Forward Operating Base or use them for flanking. Secure Brecourt Manor.
Stage 3: Further advancement
If Brecourt Manor is captured — armour vehicles will be at your disposal, two M4 Shermans in particular.
Capture Flak pit and advance to Sainte-Marie-du-Mont.
German side was not expecting this attack, was not prepared and could not repel it.
At the start there is a spawn point and a supply truck near artillery positions.
Use allocated machine guns and anti-tank cannons.
Do your best to prolong the attack and drain enemy reinforcements.

Mortars are disabled and there is no artillery support for both sides.
Changes and improvements are expected after feedback is gathered.

so Germans will have only hand guns vs armor, great. Do you mind to add some air assets to US army to secure win?

Definitely an interesting concept and something I've been wanting in PR for quite some time.
