Default 262 points for one kill!

I've not seen this happen before but I saw it last night. One of my clan members who had just joined the game killed 1 person from a good range with a sniper rifle and got 262 points for it. He or we couldn't beleive it! Bizarrley, the next person he killed only got him 2 points, so his score was 264/0/2/0.

Very strange! I know the multiplier for snipers is a bit extreme (too exteme IMO as it's too easy to come top and only kill 15 people ) but this was absurd!

So is it a bug with the scoring system?

Must be bug, in the system or in the head of the person who designed scoring system even if that kind of distance would mean more points than normal kills, still not worth 260points....

no bug ... you get bonus for doing long range kills

But 262 points for one kill then only 2 for the next.

Even if it was the enemy commander from 300m it still doesn't add up.

You get 4 points for a kill. For 300m range you get a 300% bonus of 12 points, so that makes 16.

You can also get a bonus for being near the squad leader/commander (which he wasn't) so something doesn't add up unless the mulitplier for killing the commander is something like 1500%.

Surely not!!! And as I say, he only got 2 points for the next kill which doesn't make sense at all.

Does it even matter how many points you have? I mean the purpose of this mod is to promote teamwork and tactics, I mean even if I got 1 point for killing guys tanks, CO, ans SLs I'd still be having a ton-o-fun with this mod.
