Default New Operation Flashpoint: Red River

It was first brought up during an interview on the next dirt game they will be releasing. In an interview they said it will be "tighter" and "more focused". The next real release for info will be in the OXM, OPM and Edge Magazine in early august.

Also if you actually followed OFP2 and downloaded things from Templay GFX (who pretty much saved the community) He has been looking at the game.

I will say that so far, no one has come close to what the next one is going to be about/like. and I mean that in the best way"

After hearing that from him I have high hopes for it.

Codemasters cant make those kind of games. DR was epic fail, I own a copy myself. PR-devs, BIA, BIS are the one and only at the moment, if you ask me.

DR had some good ideas. Just horribly executed. =/

DR had a great engine that looked really good and ran amazingly well, would rate it far higher than arma's VR engine.

pity they wanked it up on everything else though

Yeah DR ran very well, looked good and everything. I didn't buy Arma 2 because the demo runs so poorly even on low settings but eventhen it just looks horrible too. Sluggish controls as well. Even with the sensitivity up on the mouse it's like it's either not sensitive enough at times or way too sensitive.

I just hope they learned from their (many) mistakes from DR and make a really great game.

I actually liked DR....it was so bad it was good......plus I really liked the songs from it...

I can't wait for this one. OFP has great potential for us console gamers who look for a different kind of shooter, an IMO DR did just that.
