Anyone have any decent reference pictures of a MRAP Cougar 6x6 version.
I found http://www.toycollector.com/index.ph...43&func=fb_pdf Which has some good photos. But I need a good side, front and rear view so I can try and model it. I have a brother inlaw in iraq atm but I don't think they are allowed to take pictures of it for some reason. so any links to front/side/rear orthographic views (Little perspective) would be greatly helpful. Don't get your hopes up for ever seeing one of these in game though, just fyi. |

Your best bet is to go straight to the source- the service websites.
The U.S. Navy The United States Army Homepage Marines.mil :: Official Home of the United States Marine Corps AF.mil - Home They have high res photos of just about any US vehicle you want and search features in their galleries. And if that fails, there's also the manufacturer, Force Protection. ![]() |

ya, I e-mailed force protection, been 2 weeks and no response.
could not find any pictures on the military's websites, marines or army. there is a ton of pictures on google but nobody thinks to take pictures with 3d artists in mind!! Going to keep trying my military buddies, but i know a few of the PR guys here are deployed so figured might as well ask. By the way, taking pictures with a longer lens actually gets you less perspective and more of a flat image so that is really the best way to take reference pictures. I use a 135mm lens personally for orthographics. |

ya, if i didn't suck at modeling i could model from pics with a bit of perspective, the one up there that is a rear view with the door open helped a bit, but the proportions are weird on my model for some reason.
Hard to find 2 pictures that are taken from approximately the same distance from them. I just need to work on my modeling technique and learn to eye ball better really >< |
