Thumbs up 2 caches on insurgency

played some 40 rounds on insurgency and getting the impression the results are way more balanced, if not giving the opfor an advantage.

even whilst decreasement of ticketloss for vehicles.

the mainreason for this in my opinion is the removal of 1 active cache, giving the defenders 1/3 more troops on the objektives + the coalition a longer search time.

maybe some tickets more for brits/US but all in all a good change as far i can tell.

Yes the cache reduction does appear to be having a positive effect on both the balance and the organization of the players on the insurgent side since it is more clear where they should defend.

Yep, have the same opinion.

And for everybody complaining about insurgents, we got such a hard time last night on TG password night as british on Basrah, even having the entire team move/attack as one. Insurgents were hiding at the city/villages so we couldn't use our "├╝ber scopes/vehicles" so it got down to getting infantry squads close and several times they got whiped out by the insurgent defenders.

Just play smart people.

Well, that may have been due atleast in part to us moving in such a huge group. When we lose caches, or take out caches when I'm on the BLUFOR, it's often because there is a big fight going on somewhere and some people manage to sneak past.

I have only seen the Blufor team win once on Insurgency since the patch, and i've played a fair amount of games. That being said I've also seen a lot more very close rounds where it's come right down the nail. I think the improvements have more or less hit the nail on the head when it comes to Insurgency balancing. I honestly can't see where all the complaints are coming from.

Yes, dune, that's how it goes usually. But not what we wanted to do last night, even if it cost us the round.

I know, and it was a blast :P You don't always have to play to win.

Like Fuzzhead always says: "If we wanted to win, we could have" but the point of it was not to win

You're not thinking military.. winning the round was just what the Insurgents expected the Blufor to do.. the reason why the Insurgents won the round was because they're not professional military..
