Arrow Ejod Desert testmap 43mb

Here is the new links - for Ejod Desert test map 02 43MB

link 1 - new link will be added

link 2 - new link will be added

I hope to get a filefront link later..
--------------------------------
Map description: It's along map - Full size map. 4 tanks each team - no aircrafts of any sort..
I have implemented tank-shelters in the desert sand...

There are two wide areas of desert and a small city in the center of the map.
It's very tactical map - That means - you sorta know in what direction the enemy come from...
And 3 roof-tops for sniper activity..

loads of small sand-banks for infantry to hide/cover and run-about.
-------------------------------
I have been working on this map for 4 - 5 weeks - and now it's done... I made it a (beta) - cause it has not yet been testet online.. I would like some help.

Heres a few pictures:

PS:My Router has been broken for a month - i have not been online in that period - thats why i have not told anything...

Here is some more pictures -

And my favorite alley that goes upwards from a market-area...towards center of city.

Market place - south looking north

MEC-defence area - looking north towards MEC start-point..The plates are a small tunnel..

Im trying to make an FTP where i can put the map.
So far i have not been able to change the folder name To Ejod_Desert - It's called Blue_Bird.

If it could be put on some server...It would be great.

great map, i esp like the trench things for tanks. very tight combat area though, those are some serious choke points, though it might work really well with incremental advancement over the trenches & cover points.

if you want a temp place to host the map, you could try a free uploader like rapidshare.de

edit: also remember you can delete your object lightmaps (but save the atlas lightmaps) from the client.zip to trim down the package.

& for renaming, this might help: http://bfeditor.org/forum/viewtopic....hange+map+name

Thx matt.b for the tips/links
The map is tight for a reason.. Its the desert that is expanding - And the people & the major in the city, build a huge wall to protect the city from the sand..But the city is now emty...
Its a very strategic point - and armies a fighting to control the last supply line that this area is (i had a bit of a fantasy goin on while making the map.. )
