Angry MD5Tool Mismatch ...

Hi PR forum,

Since 5 hours I got the MD5Tool Mismatch (Shader_client) error. I saw some solutions on your website and i've tried them all but none worked. I also re-installed bf2 and pr. (Deleted full bf2 files + PR) Can you guys help me please?

P.S. Never had it before and I'm playing sice 0.5

I had this too.

And this only happens on certain servers, because of their filtering.

This happened to me many times on the =HOG= server.

All I did really. Was delete the MD5 file. ANd I didn't get kicked again. A new MD5 file was created, and I don't get kicked anymore.

@pclipse teh owner ... can you tell me how to delete that MD5 file then? Because you're posting it now and I can't get anything out it.

When you get kicked, the PunkBuster kick message will tell you the path to the MD5 file. Exit out of PR, then go to the path that you wrote down, right click the file and click DELETE.

Yes, but he may have any shaders loaded while the backup might not be present.

I looked up the problem on Google, then on another forum, I guy said he deleted the MD5 file. So I did too. And all was fine. I have the MD5 file again, as I said in my other post, that it's a server generated file.
