Thumbs up Cool.

Oh wow. Thats great. Really nice. It'll probably mean that sa7 will have a harder time locking on.

Shame about the view distance though - all you see is the damn fog Guess we can blame it on thick clouds till it gets fixed.

What about flares for aircraft though? IR jamming?

Looks amazing except for people with low view distance.

Well, people with low view distances shouldn't really be flying in aircraft.
20/20 vision required

Wasn't me.

Missile improvements. They actually hunt jets like they're supposed to and if you're flying a jet you better be good about losing those missiles on your tail or they will come and bite you in the butt.

I fired 6 missiles at Katarn from the Phalnax on the carrier and he reported them flying in formation with his jet... 2 on each of his side, one on top and one on bottom, and the others came and hit him in the butt.

Funny stuff.

With jets improved, AND view distances, AND larger maps.. it will be much better in the air... and on the ground.... it's VERY hard to "rape" the ground targets in a jet now.

Wasn't me.

IMHO they won't really. I forsee the only way to take these things down is to use AA missles. You *might* be able to take them down w/ cannons if they slow down for a strafing run, but otherwise it looks like they're going to be too fast. HOWEVER, I know that the devs and some other testers have made a recent breakthrough in regards to view distance (you can view things from much larger distances than before), so its possible that'll we'll be able to see these jets coming from much further distances than we can now. That hopefully means that we can engage them with AA cannons and missles earlier.

Well, except for the flares, will there be any chance of evading the missiles?
Maybe turn off the engine and restart, as missiles pass, so they dont get a heat lock...lmao

edit: btw, is that Zatar Wetlands in the video?
