Default MLRS

Allright guys, my suggestion is to add MLRS (Multiple Launch Rockets System) to the game (If possible of course).
Why?
Artillery is one of the key factors of attacking. First u need to bomb the hell out of the area, then inf can move in. In PR we have only 2 types of artillery: 1. mortars, 2. area attack.

Have u ever wondered why there are no mortar squads in almost every game? It is a pain in the ass to get all set up. That's the main reason. And if u have to attack a superfob, mortars can do 90% of your work.
And area attack takes so long to be ready, and u can use it once/twice in a round.
If u have a MLRS (Russians maybe BM21 Grad, or BM27 Uragan, and Americans M270) u can easily do the job with them. They can be no respawn, claimable assets.
You will probbably think of rocket technical, and how its useless, because it doesn't have a precise aiming system. But, if u make a precise aiming system (like on mortars) (if possible) MLRS will be definitely useful assets.

Do you know what the minimum range for most MLRS is? Why would you even want that added into the game when pretty much every map is too small for such a weapon system. As pointless as adding strategic bombers imo.

Adding MLRS strike as an area attack, on the other hand, would be quite interesting and would add to diversity.

Not to mention a single missile from it can wipe out a 1km by 1km area, which is 1/16th of a 4km map, or 1/4 of a 2km map, or everyone on Fallujah

I don't know if we need more non-LOS weapon systems. People belly ached about mortars being too strong in previous version (the effectiveness of a commander had a lot to do with it), or am I mistaken? I think if mortars are "too complicated" to get going it adds to the psuedo-balance of the asset. It takes experienced players willing to play the logistics game in coordination with frontline SLs feeding them accurate, up-to-date information.

Indirect Fire is probably better off being on the deeper end of PR know-how, and it is probably better off being the role of unsung heroes rather than giving players the ability to lay waste to an entire objective with a few clicks of the mouse.

This is a suggestion entirely based on "it would be cool", there should be more consideration towards how this would change the way rounds play out. I may not be of popular opinion here, but I think it has no place (other than off-map call in).

"This is a suggestion entirely based on "it would be cool" ". You are 100% right, this was just an idea.
