Default Why can't I throw an Incendiary?

Anyone else think that taking out the ability to throw the Incendiary grenade is going in the opposite direction of "reality"

I have thought that many would say, well in real life you don't toss an Incendiary from 30m but it some cases you would but It is important to remember that PR FOB's are not exactly following the rules of reality either.

They did it to prevent people from using incendiaries on manned vehicles (tanks etc), which I think is a great thing. If you've found a FOB you either leave it, or walk up to it and take it out.

a little throw couldn't be to much to ask, say 1 meter to toss it in the back a truck

I could get on board with a small throw. Nothing that would allow someone to take out an asset from a distance, though.

Isn't this a suggestion outside of the suggestion-section?

Now it is, after you removed "I would like to have my throwing arm back please".

IRL Incendiary grenades are not thrown around, they are placed directly onto the target. The grenade actually has to be right on what you want destroyed for it to be effective.

If you throw it you are likely to miss the target completely wasting the grenade in the process and you could even cause danger to yourself and others.

ok but if a place an incendiary on the opposite side of the fob from the radio and plant it on the dirt, that destroys the fob so why does it matter where it lands?
