It's just a forum... I mean, how could this really help? It's not like you're hiding any personal information on a forum...

Actually, you could come over here to force me to play pr, but instead you'd be forcing my parents to let me play pr.
... can you?

But ya, unless you have some concerns about someone snooping on you to get important information off this site (which really won't be much/ any at all) then there's no reason to use https here.

Passwords are stored and transmitted as md5 hashes i guess (& hope). The interwebz is all about DNS & routing, every requests goes over many, many, many machines to your home. And every non encrypted request can be sniffed at any point in clear text. You should mind that fact always.

We have members from china, hungary, israel, turkey, ... i don`t worry about my privacy only.

@Rudd: you mean Mu ha ha haaa tra ?

Test it (edit): press Start -> type "cmd" -> press ENTER -> type "tracert realitymod.com" -> press ENTER -> Greetings to Houston

I dont see why you need a reason for privacy and security? Shouldnt that be an overall goal of the internet population?

You're really not that important to worry about that tbh. Sorry to burst your bubble This aint a bank ffs. At this very minute, you might be very much doubting the green backed 's' addition at the start of URLs as well. If you know about browser tech, you'll know what I mean.

We can of course enforce this if the 5 out of 55+ THOUSAND users need it. In fact, no.
