had some odd stuff happening yesterday when joining RIP. When I joined, my mic got somehow deactivated.
Tabbing into windows and starting TS3 resulted in TS not being able to use the mic.
So, I shut down ArmA2OA.exe and started TS3 - mic works again - rejoin RIP - mic dead.
Started TS3 - then PRAA and sadly the RIP server crashed. But my mic worked again on TS3 and on the TG server I joined..
No changes made to either programs.

Default Can't get my microphone to work. Help?

I've tried using two different mics and neither seem to work. My mic works for skype and everything else on my pc but won't work for PR: Arma 2. I've tried the auto adjust option in the audio settings for the game and that doesnt seem to do anything. I really need to use my mic with this game, any suggestions on how to get it to work?

Hello Nico. I think we played on the same server yesterday, I saw your name pop up several times without hearing anything.

Anyways the only thing I can think of is that windows might have a different default microphone, one that is non-existent. Skype is clever, since it let's you chose the right one. All other aplications will take what ever windows tells them what the default is.

To make sure the right one is set as the default in windows, right click on your speaker sign in your task bar (if you use win7) then click on recording devices. In this window make sure that you set the microphone as default that is actually registering sound.

hope that helps, if not get back to me and I'll try to think of something else

Well, it's either what sherlock said or try to start the game as Administrator. Especially if you are on a TS server start both as Administrator.

I have a similair problem with the VON in Arma and other games. When i try to talk with ingame VON my quality is very very bad. But with all other normal applications (non games) like skype and TS3 it works perfectly. People can not hear me properly and i try'd doing alot of stuff.
