Win 10 PR Ver. 1.4.3 - Can only play in windowed mode. Fullscreen = CTD

Hi guys

After I updated PR to the latest version I am unable to play the game in fullscreen and must instead play in windowed mode. This distorts the game window and makes it unplayable for me. If I attempt to launch the game in fullscreen the game crashes right after the blank black screen and shuts down.

Have any of you experienced the same issue and resolved the problem?

FYI: I have updated both my .Netframework, DX9 and my graphics card drivers to the latest.

Ive tried a couple things even switching to a VGA 1600X900 monitor VS my 1080 HDMI The worst thing is I cant even run in windowed because the mouse doesn't match up with the menu selections such as "deployment" and the rest I suppose I could try using a custom position and force it to work?

As you can see everything is shifted weird

Hmm. In the PRLauncher, go to Options and then select Reset All Profiles, then reconfigure everything.

Thanks for the replies.

Unfortunately the "Reset All Profiles" didn't solve the problem.

I've read that there are a number of other people who are experiencing the same problem, but with no solution.

Hopefully a future patch will fix the issue

We don't have access to the engine, we can't patch these sort of things, ever. Don't count on it.

Make a new thread and try to figure out the issue. Post any information you can.

UPDATE:

I fixed the issue by moving the whole Project Reality folder from Program files (x86) to the desktop and start up the game from there. Everything runs smoothly now in fullscreen.

Just upgraded(see: regret) to Win10, PR was crashing a few seconds after launch. Tried reinstalling and all kinds of crap. This worked for the first time I launched it. CTD'd on next map load and now crashes on launch again.
