Yeah... how about you try the game before making a statement that is absurd? If you looked at any of the previous stat screens you would see tank ranges are 2,275 m.

Well to be precise the "meters" shown in the stats, etc. have been scaled. For whatever reason the the distance indicated as 2275 "meters" is actually 650 legit meters ingame IIRC. Still far bigger ranges than most RTS games though.

Well, I understand why they had to scale the ranges. Otherwise you'd have ARMA sized maps and engagements would be less frequent, at least that's what I think.

I don't mind this scale because it's pretty obvious they had to implement it. However I do think that maps have different scalings. This is especially noticible with TOW vehicles and AMRAAM or interceptor planes. On some maps they can fire across the entire map, while on other maps (that appear to be the same size) their ranges are significantly shorter. It's pretty weird and confusing.

Yea but if every unit uses the same scaled meter's it doesn't actually matter though the engagement distances would be scaled as well, so it makes sense.
