Italy lost the game on purpose? In order to make sure England is out? I wonder it.

No, definitely not, lol.
The risk of loosing the game against Uruguay is just too high.
Why would Italy want England to fly home anyway, no that was surely not the case.

As an Italian, we hate those crooked-teeth, tea-slurping egomaniacs that think they know anything about football. Seeing them out is more of a reward than any cup.

On a serious note, many of the major teams relied on old setups and tactics, they are simply not flexible enough and over confident. Serves them well to get their ass handed over by the underdogs.

Switching topic, finally a gif

Italy has a history of problems with weaker opponents, remember Slovakia 4 years ago ?? They seem to play great against strong opponents and fail against the weak ones.

Forgive my bad English...

Man... Iran is playing poorly. Clearly on the defensive. Yet they're still holding their ground against Argentina. If they manage to end it in a draw, they might as well call it a victory. xD

Well if they manage to suck out that 1 point out of the Argies, they might actually have a shot at going through, no matter how measly that shot is tho.
