Vietcong (2003)

It has come to my attention that very few people know about this game, but in my humble opinion it is the best game set in the War in Vietnam ever made, single player at least. You should all play through it on either the hardest or second hardest difficulty. The sound, environments, and general atmosphere are top notch and really helps nail the chaos of jungle warfare. It was also one of the first games to implement 3D iron sights and AI squad mechanics (basic as they are). It's one of the few war games I have played that delivers on an idea (war is a mistake) through mechanics and story without beating you over the head with it. Really a fantastic game that still holds up 20 years later with mechanics that are STILL unique to only this game.

Omg this game!!! Probably one of the first FPS I really got hooked on! The campain was so nice! And had a lot of fun in the multiplayer. This game really is part of my gamer history

Yeah I agree. It's great. I uh, "got a hold of" this game back in 2013 and there were even people playing online back then. If there's any game that needs a remaster it's this one.

Yeah, the sound and map design of the campaign was so immersive, it would be great to see what they could do with modern graphics.
