Default Remove Minimap HUD Border

In a vehicle you can see your minimap. Around that minimap is a thick border.

I am asking to get that removed. When flying a helicopter, it is annoying as you can not really see yourself on the minimap while in base (unless the base is not at the edge of the map).

Or when trying to gain altitude in a heli, or align yourself with the landing strip, the minimap usually helps, but again, your player usually is "behind" that border so you can not use it as a reference.

I've removed them for now.

Here's how it looks like:

Edited GPS Frame to not be as thick

Comparison:

Currently in v1.6, it's the 2nd picture with the edited borders but it seems like the blurred effect inside of the borders causes the issue which I can edit out. It just doesn't look right without a border.

How about a very thin black border that would make it seem borderless?

And why not let the map fade out if there is absolutely no border
