Default Trying to open a level in BF2 editor

Hi, I have the AIX mod and I'm trying to open a level. I have done this numerous times with BF2, but this mod seems to give me issues. It loads and then right at the end I get "the application has generated an exception." And the it asks me if I want to save a dump file. What could the problem be? I'm using Windows 7.

If I can't open the level, how would I place an object from AIX into BF2 manually?

It's likely missing a file, either a file from the map itself(sky.con for example is one I know that without one it crashes the editor) or a file it needs to load from your mod folder.

Ideally you should try to get the editor folder from the original creators as well, this will solve every issue for you

However doesn't the bfeditor generate crash logs as well? Could look into those.

There is a folder called "logs" in the bf2editor folder in BF2, check which files were last loaded.

The file is there. I don't see a logs folder. I see a dump folder with unreadable .dpm files. I tried to open them with Notepad++, It's cryptic.

Okay, I found the logs.
