Today we're testing our AI for the first release. Cooperative gameplay is really important for us, so our objective is to have all our maps support cooperative gameplay upon launch. We want to hit a middle ground between Squad and Ravenfield, since we believe single player support is imperative nowadys.

Interesting, are you guys going for a 1991 Gulf War theme to start with? Don't think that has really been done since Desert Combat and USI? Something I was kinda hoping PR would get around to doing at some stage but not that many people interested in putting the work in to make it happen. Will be interesting to see if that conflict resonates with players 30 years on.

Yeah we're doing Gulf War first, and then we'll be branching into modern conflicts. We also have two community teams working on World War II and Vietnam content as well. We'll just see where things go.

Nice, I hope you guys get this right. Not only will it be a great game to play, it might also help push Squad in the right direction with a little competition. Then we'll have 2 great games, besides PR of course.

Will there be scripting to enable something similar to ArmA co-op missions and such or just PvP with bots?
