Default Problems with launch

Every time I launch the game, it produces a black screen and rotating dog tag.

Even if I configure the settings, it still appears to be the same results.

Upon putting the game on windows mode, the following error appears:

> System.InvalidOperationException: Failed sending keep alive
at Reality.BF2.GameSpy.MasterServer.SocketState.(Obj ect )
at System.Threading.ExecutionContext.RunInternal(Exec utionContext executionContext, ContextCallback callback, Object state, Boolean preserveSyncCtx)
at System.Threading.ExecutionContext.Run(ExecutionCon text executionContext, ContextCallback callback, Object state, Boolean preserveSyncCtx)
at System.Threading.TimerQueueTimer.CallCallback()
at System.Threading.TimerQueueTimer.Fire()
at System.Threading.TimerQueue.FireNextTimers()
[/code]

Does anyone know how to resolve this dilemma?

Many thanks.

Do you have a firewall blocking loopback?
