Thewe will also be 320+ different units in the game, this doesnt count 1 unit for multiple factions but does count different variants
well Here is a nice screen shot for you not on the media list what can you see

Warsaw Pact

You can mix and match you not confined to just US troops or British but you can if you want to. It also been admitted by the Devs that Mod Tools will be in strait out the box

oooh, starship Pattons. Shiny.

The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.

Many thanks to [R-DEV]Adriaan for the sig!

What about the gameplay, any info on that? Infantry for example? How will it look like, will it be realistic? Suppression, cover?

Looks very good. Graphics don't seem that much better from World In Conflict, 'though it's fair to say that WiC's graphics were damn good ones. The enlarged maps do promise a lot. That's one of the things WiC lacked, and those were large maps. I always felt that the WiC maps were too small.

So that's a pro.

Mod tools upon release? Nice!

I wonder if it'll have similar campaign mode like WiC. Because that was one of the pros in WiC, that it had a pretty good storyline and characters. T_T I wish they made a sequel.

Well that is all very quite at the mo as a closed Beta is going on :@ but what i can gather is that they have tried ot best represent armour values of equipment that we can easily translate into real world conditons (i.e has been used in battle) if you watch some videos when you target a unit for example abrams (its the 105 mill gun or is it 100 cant remember) your target reticle become the actual tank optics, and you need to take into account line of sight and also vegitation, they have said if you cant see it you will when it fires. Also they said something about optics. The Unit Roster is from 1973 till 1989.

This is all i know guys if i find any more info out i will pass it on down

Anyone know what year the game takes place? I'm guessing late 1980's, due to the Apaches which didn't enter service till '86, IIRC.
