Just to spice things up a bit for PR, I suggest we make a layer where both sides get 2x tanks each. On a map such as fallujah, this is both a blessing and a curse, because having tanks on a small map can be devastating for one team, but they are also more likely to kill it due to having less space to manuever. Im sure the assetwhores would love this one.

Tanks and APCs should be totally removed from this map. It is a great map for INF, especially for seeding, having a fight of 1 squad vs 1 squad is awesome, the assets always ruin game play. People do not always hunt them down, it happens, but mostly the tanks and APCs are just kill counters. If someone kills them it doesn't seem to matter either because I think the re-spawn time is low, on a 1km map. The geography of the map works perfect for INF giving you multiple types of terrain while making moving INF from point to point accommodating for people only on foot. It only takes like 2mins to walk from the main to the north. It offers a perfect variety, the west has wide open longer range environments, the east nice urban action, and the south offers a mix between the two, with long views down roads that are commonly used. Tanks and APC's just set up on the sides or at the ends of streets and take out anything that walks by, they don't take too many risks and its hard to get behind them usually. Also, hits don't really kill them with 1 shot, so they usually just quickly run to main and repair. ... and people always want to talk shit about Snipers... ![]() The map needs to be totally INF with trans only, not even humvees with a 50cal, anything else and its really out of place. You don't need tanks, APCs, armed humvees, and freaking CAS on every freaking map in PR.

There is INF layer for infantry only Fallujah. On other layers, vehicles play they deserved role.

mec fallujah ins fallujah and reg fallujah need more love always not just as seeders. i was blown away with mec fallujah at first mad no scopes then i realise i i one shot kill and all the new vehicles so fun.
also one tank is crazy enough. if u bluwhore then the ins are just meat bots. if you ins its often everyman for himself and so hard to organise how many RPG hits to kill a tank lol. tank battles before inf can start on a small map is a bad idea |

The INF layer rarely comes up because there is too much catering to people who want assets in PR. They made VW and its really just for people who want to fuck around. The best PR experience is in the INF vs INF play.

Fallujah is my favorite map to go up against BLUFOR APC, lots of grass to crawl through with RKG grenades. You dont like it because they kill you and it presents a challenge where you just want to shoot infantry, the infantry layer of the map has .50 cal CROW humvees which i hate more. It is easy to not get killed by APC, dont look at it and if you are hiding by like laying down, dont let friendly who doesnt know how to hide or what enemy sees run next to you because if he get blown up you do too. If you can see something or someplace far away you can get shot from there so dont look at it.
I see buildings next to the cache that could be used for defense, but players who never use all their ammo before dying sit all in the one cache building for the APC to come along. I dont get why players who dont suppress and they think its a waste of ammo sit next to the cache. Which they dont know how to use windows properly to look or shoot out without being seen from all directions which only marks the cache building for enemy. Another problem is the RPG being a kit that spawns on ground, new or inexperienced players who have no intention of using it to kill the APC because they are afraid of it. They pick it up like its a free weapon, they dont know how or where to survive, run in the open and die. Its funny how people who say its "only a game" get scared of APC like its real life or get mad at the players who waste RPG kits. I guess "its just a game" when me or someone other than the person saying "its a game" get mad. But when they get mad themselves its not just a game anymore, its a personal attack on them. Really these un-aware long time players who say "its just a game" but get just as angry, go hand in hand with the kind of person that wastes RPG. Being un-aware of harm you cause, being un-aware of being hypocritical, not teaching, not learning and getting mad is what ruins the game on all levels. Like you cant get mad if you dont even try to teach new players tactics but then crap on people trying to teach. People dont even know when to decide "we cant kill it right now", meaning dont go for it or it takes more attempts. You cant go to an APC unless you have 100% camouflage or hidden path to travel behind to get to it, if there is infantry escorting it you can forget it. If everyone stopped getting killed by APC in its hard to reach chosen spot, it would see nobody, get bored and move into view. Dont go to it with RKG or RPG, let it come in view of you. Its sad people dont use camouflage or playing dead to wait for APC to drive by as if they got something better to do. |
