I thought Annihilation was a neat film, just slow paced.
Anyway for some reason I wacthed the 2017 Murder on the Orient Express, another Kenneth Branagh film where he directs himself. Movie gets meh/10 for story, but meme/10 in geography for finding Alps on the rail route between Vinkovci and Slavonski Brod. |

Black Mirror Bandersnatch - It's an interesting concept, reminds me of Life is Strange, especially seeing how the theme is quite connected to time.

The Deluge (1974). Pretty cool Polish film about the Swedish invasion of Poland in the 17century. Over 4 hours long. Great production and all that. Didn't care so much about the story, it was pretty standard. I really wanted to see it for the setting since this period in history isn't actually put to film that much.
Paprika (2006) A mental anime about dreams. Definitely recommend since it's so absurd. |

I watched the lastest Tarantino this weekend: Once upon a time in...Hollywood.
My review is: good. It has a lot of qualities for a film of the decate but lacks some important things, you'll know once you see it. That being said, it IS a Tarantino film so 2:40 goes by faster than you think. Of course you should watch it but don't expect it to top Tarantino's best films. |

I watched Ford vs Ferrari (Le Mans 66 in other places) and I'd definitely recommend it, especially if you’re into cars. It doesn't stick to history 100%, but the liberties it takes were justified imo. The racing scenes were great and really showcase the GT40 and Ferrari 330 P3 really well. I was pleasantly surprised, considering the trailers made it seem like this would be a run of the mill racing movie with the good guy, blue collar Americans beating the posh and affluent Italian villains. But it had a lot more story and emotion to it while also having some great action.
It was a solid 8/10 imo and a really good movie |
