It can fit 3+7. Comfort isn't one of the priorities of russian equipment, at least it wasn't untill recently.

It can swim up to force 3 if my memory serves me right.

Typical Russian are 10 mens with APC crew.So most modern Russians APCs have 7 passanger seats.

OH GAWD, Russians had always their own kind of style and I really like the looks of most Russian vehicles (from an aesthetic point of view) but that thing is just ugly as fuk.

Looking not so bad to me.But size...
Armor under big angle is a good idea,cause provide better protection against ball round.Remember T34 frontal armor,for medium tank they was pretty much armored.
But also weak spot on side.

Did the design team suffer from claustrophobia while driving in a BRDM or something? Cause that thing looks like a giant ass target that could carry an entire platoon.
