I've often thought about doing an editorial kind of blog about that golden age of gaming. Like basically it would be a daily rant about how Xbox ruined gaming mixed with all kinds of nostalgic ramblings of old games.

Remember the good old days? When you'd buy a game and it would come in a cereal box and have a 400 page printed full colour manual? And a fold out glossy double sided map. And a postcard quality hotkey sheet. Those were good days.

No mention of Project Reality, what a shame.

Unfortunately, BF3 doesn't hold up to my expectations to put it lightly. Interesting watch nonetheless, brought back a lot of good memories!

p.s. a sequel for BF2142 on Frostbite 2? Now this I am excited for!

I'm still waiting for a Titan like mode with aircraft carriers for BF3.

I think the real story of battlefield at least from 2 on is the gap between what the devs presented what they actually delivered and how somebody else fixed that.

They are probably going to be making a "2143" game, it will be allot of fun.

What's with all the hate for 2142? I really enjoyed it, and the vid said that its inf combat was poor, i preferred it to BF2. As a game, I preferred BF2, but 2142 really wasn't that bad, and with it being in the future, offered some cool additions (the drop pods and the walkers for one).
