PunkBuster Issue

For all Player who have un- and reinstalled BF2 to setup the PR 1.3 and having Problem wit the Message A1393 C2.306 error loading pbag. Here is what worked out for me.

Servers dont use PunkBuster since 1.0 anymore since its support for BF2 ended along time ago and it never did actually catch any hackers and instead just harrassed normal players with false alarms. So you can ignore the PB install.

Bf2 mod servers still do use PB. I found out after set up a new PC System. And at the actual PB setup there?s no BF2 anymore

I dont know if servers that are running other mods still use PB (except FH there are no other active mods anyways) but PR servers do not use PB. You still have the option as server hoster but its turned off by default and I dont know any server that is using it and I wouldnt know a reason why you would want to use it.

Shure I understand. For me it is the AIX2 mod. Never played FH. It is still up and a few players are always online. It was also just meant to inform the ones who have reinstalled and had the same problem I had.
I really appreciate that PB is turned off, because for me it was always a troubleshooter
