Its a modernized MiG. And I think it said that Russia was representing Cuba(?)

Well you don't see Modernized F-4 Phantom on US' side.

I am pretty sure team wanted to put it in the game since it was ready,
but any story why on map with Russians,I mean we have other factions
that are more fitting.

Well no factions use the F-4 in the game. No faction would make more sense than the Russian one for a Cuba-oriented-conflict-map-scenario...thing...

dedogist is on the ball. Ideally we would have a Cuban faction for the map but its not really worth the effort right now. The MiG-21 is in Cuban camo btw:

Kashan really needs a revamp ... 90% of the time battle takes place at north and south bunkers is starting to get very predictable and a little less fun , we really need a few more flags with "things" on kashan... a layout where the battle can start in another interesting place other than south and north bunkers.

Missing Falklands , had some crazy game-plays at Goose Green when it was launched.
