Simply the best action flick since 2007's zoospartans.
There is a lot to like, but I liked "cinema language" - image of world as truck with ecstatic mutants drummers and diabolical flamethrowing guitarist playing with all their might and running full speed ahead to inevitable demise.
Holy shit, I'm so glad they didn't fuck up the franchise.
I'm planning to go watch it at the end of the month. My theater offers both 3D and non-3D screenings, do you guys think the 3D is worth it ?

Many thanks to everyone involved in the making of the best videogaming experience ever !

I watched it in 2D yesterday, gonna watch it in 3D tomorrow.
Great film, best action film IMO wt The Raid 2... and I love the old Mad Max films.
The fast cuts might be vomit inducing in 3D, not sure.

IMO, 3D is great but after 15 min of movie you get used to it and doesn't make much difference, but you've already paid more for it.

I'm going to watch mad max tonight! I'm so excited1

Chappie 7/10

Only got scored down because the tempo wasn't quite right, skipped over some bits that in my opinion required more deliberation either because it was integral to plot OR something that will revolutionise the universe as it is known in the film

Grey text to avoid spoiler as I can't remember how to get the tags to work

AI is a revolution in itself, this wasn't explored enough, the emphasis put on soul instead of consciousness, but then at the end transfering consciousness to robot bodies...this is pretty big stuff and warranted further discussion. I'd have love a final scene where Chappie and Deon walk into a TV station and just explain what's happened

Mad Max: Fury Road

10/10

I loved the movie, I went in expecting a great film and left with one of my new favorites. It's just absolute insanity and perfectly done. What added to it, was seeing it in 4DX at my cinema which just made the whole experience ridiculous. Blasts of air over my shoulders as bullets fly past, sprays of water at you as blood is sprayed on screen and smoke let out during explosions. Best cinema experience I've ever had with one of the best action movies I've seen.

Kingsman

All you need to know about this movie could be summarized by this gif:

It is, indeed, Tom&Jerry cartoon with buttsex in the end.

"In addition to his other Asiatic characteristics, the Russian have no regard for human life and is an all out son of bitch, barbarian, and chronic drunk" - General Patton : A Soldier's Life

If violence isn't the answer, then you obviously need more violence.

Not "about" religion, just uses a lot of references.

Saw Ex Machina last night.

8/10. I personally thought it was intense, and as a fan of the Black Mirror series this was a treat. If you guys want to see more of this style of film I'd recommend this:
