I think a lot of people are just in the mindset of DayZ for this style of game where it's pretty much kill on sight all the time. I guess the PR community is just friendlier

Yeah might be the case.

I'm also interested in knowing how many PR-Z players didn't know about PR before finding PR:Z. As it is one of our objectives to bring more players to the main mod. Not sure if that's a realistic objective or not and its hard to figure out if it's having any impact on the PR player count.

People that are from outside of PR community should got info about this minimod from site like Moddb.
But anyway, good question. For sure there was someone so i think its a success I will be play PR:Z more after exams session for sure.

@SpectrePR, you can see us in live stream video that i post some time ago. Last 30 minutes when i died with medic pack.

The PR:Z Humanity System was updated tonight. Since most people don't bother clicking on the links, I will copy paste the info on its settings:

To prevent the "shoot-on-sight" mentality, we implemented a humanity system that keeps track of what you do in game. Your humanity is tracked by a scoring system connected to a team-switcher, this means that if you reach a low value of points, you will get switched to the zombie team. The way this works is that you start with X positive points and you loose Y points for each team-kill you do while gaining points by killing X zombies and by having teamwork with other survivors.

Currently we're using the following settings:

- You start with 100 Points
- You get Team-Switched (to Zombies) if you die and have Zero or Negative Points
- You get Team-Switched Instantly (to Zombies) if you have -100 Points or if you get Killed by a Zombie, independently of your humanity values.
- You get -100 Points when you become a Zombie and need to reach 0 Points to be allowed to switch back to Survivor
- You get 60 Points when you return to the Survivors Team (All points gained as Zombie are removed)
- You have to wait 4 minutes before you are considered a unarmed survivor if you spawned/picked up one of these kits: Any of the Unarmed Kits on the Spawn Screen plus the Request-able Unarmed Drop Kit. The Ammo and Patches Kits are also considered unarmed.

* If you Team-Kill 1 Survivor = -20 Points
* If you get a TK Assist = -5 Points
* If you Team-Kill 1 Unarmed Survivor = -60 Points (Instead of -20) = 3 Normal Team-Kills
* If you get an Assist for an Unarmed Survivor being killed = -15 Points (Instead of -5)
* If you kill 1 Zombie = +2 Points (Only if you have less than 100 Points)
* If you get an Assist for a Zombie being killed = +1 Point (Only if you have less than 100 Points)

* If you kill 1 Survivor (Unarmed or not) as a Zombie = +100 Points (Usually enough to Allow the Team-Switch)
* If you get an Assist for a Survivor (Unarmed or not) being killed, as a Zombie = +25 Points

* Stay 4 Minutes Alive as Survivor = +1 Point (Only if you have less than 100 Points)
* Stay 4 Minutes Alive as Zombie = +20 Points (Meaning you can change to Survivor after a Max of 20 Minutes)
* Die as Survivor = -10 Points (Only if you have more than 60 Points)
* If you Suicide as Survivor = -200 Points (Enough to get you instantly switched if you didn't gain any extra points)

- This means that IF you have 100 Points and you get:

* 5 Team-Kills = 5 X -20 = -100 Points = which = 0 Points = Team-Switched once dead
* 10 Team-Kills = 10 x -20 = -200 Points which = -100 Points = Team-Switched instantly
* 2 Unarmed Killed = 2 x -60 = -120 Points which = -20 Points = Team-Switched once dead
* 4 Unarmed Killed = 4 x -60 = -240 Points which = -140 Points = Team-Switched instantly

- But IF you only have 60 Points (After returning to the Survivors Team) and you get:

* 3 Team-Kills = 3 X -20 = -60 Points = which = 0 Points = Team-Switched once dead
* 8 Team-Kills = 8 x -20 = -160 Points which = -100 Points = Team-Switched instantly
* 1 Unarmed Killed = 1 x -60 = -60 Points which = 0 Points = Team-Switched once dead
* 3 Unarmed Killed = 3 x -60 = -180 Points which = -120 Points = Team-Switched instantly

You can counter your Team-Kills by killing Zombies:
* 10 Zombie Kills = +20 Points = Minus 1 Team-Kill
* 20 Zombie Kill Assists = +20 Points = Minus 1 Team-Kill

- Reviving other survivors = +20 Extra Points (Not limited to a Max amount)
Keep an eye on your points to avoid getting switched.

We also changed the "Allow Kit Pickup" to not be necessary when picking up Ammo or Patches kits. The Revive kits still require the kit pickup permission.

Last day of the Open Beta. Get in while you still can.

The humanity system might be updated for tonight's gaming, once again making it more strict with the penalties applied to each TK.

I will post the settings here once it is on the server.

* 2 Unarmed Killed = 2 x -75 = -150 Points which = -100 Points = Team-Switched instantly

Just as a fun little story, myself and another zombie cornered a guy who ran into the pool in the gym and we had a pool party for like 5 minutes because he was too afraid to get out ^^

Sadly he won in the end with an sks or unscoped svd or something, but that was one of the more fun times there -.-

...Another was when some bandits captured this random unarmed survivor and forced him to fist fight a zombie or they'd kill him...didn't stay long for that seeing as I think I would've been next in line XD
