SOLUTION: Free some space on your hard drive!
Hi. Downloaded 1.5, Initiated updater, it downloads necessary updates. Saved somewhere I presume. Update begins, however dialog vanishes at approx 91% on 1.5.1.0 update. See attachment, this is just before the crash. Restarted PC, PR shortcut redirects to updater, same thing repeats (vanishes). |

I have a similar problem, I downloaded version 1.5.0.0 and I can't update, I checked for updates at <C: \ Users \ Pc \ AppData \ Local \ Project reality \ Project reality BF2 \ Downloads> and saw that I had to version 1.5.4.0 to 1.5.5.3 and I assume this is the cause of the error, the update tries to update directly to version 1.5.4.0 without the previous version
could someone send me all the updates from 1.5.0.0 to the latest ??? want to try to update one by one |

Hi all,
Today I had the same problem with version 1.6.4. The solution for me was simply using a VPN. Since the well-known Covid madness, Belgium missused the crisis to strenghen the internet sensorship. Which made it impossible to download some peer to peer files. (like torrents etc) => start VPN to another country, problem solved in my case... I hope this may help for you too. |

OP has issues with installing the update, not downloading it, so using VPN doesn't matter.
OP also edited the first post saying that it was due to not having enough free space on the hard drive. If you have issues downloading updates, create your own thread. You can also try downloading and installing updates manually. I don't know what Jurel's issue was, what he says doesn't make much sense and he did not provide his updater's logs. If you have issues with installing updates, create your own thread and include updater logs in your post. You can find the logs in Launcher --->Options ---> Global ---> Update Log Location. |
