As usual the biggest factor in a new faction is that you'll need maps. It's such an importance , put your biggest focus on that first. I speak out of experience

Thanks, Ive got some ideas, but they need some work to do with design, I'll try to do them faster. Maybe there will be some map schemes soon.We're working on it.

Map concept update:AAS(Kharkov)-Big city with outskirts, Ukraine is holding the 2-4 town points, Russia is attacking from the outskirts. Vehicles: Ukraine: 4 UAZ, 2 KrAZ, 1 HMMWV, 2 BTR-7, 1 BTR-4, 2 Shilka's, 2 T-64E, 1 Mi-24. Russia: 2 UAZ, 2 Ural's, 2 BMP-3, 1 2K22 Tunguska, 3 T-90, 1 Mi-28. Ukraine-700 tickets. Russia-600. Scheme map is coming soon.

I suggest making a design plan as well. Much more organized. Click on my signature picture to get a good example on how I made mine for the Syrian Community Faction.

Its all cool, but why did you choose "Oplot" tank as an MBT? Ukraine has almost 1000 - T64 tanks, 1302 - T72 tanks, 167 - T80UD tanks and only 8 to 10 - T84 oplot tank(U BM modernized version among them, which means U BM version is even less than 10). If theoretical war to start, T84 U BM Oplot tanks won't be the ones to take action. The main workhorse of Ukrainian tank battalion fists would be T72s or T80UDs.
I understand, you want to make your homeland army look badass and all by including all the rarest unique few warmachines. But isn't it kinda stretching it and unrealistic? Just my humble opinion. Do as you like of course. |

remember to be realistic with what you can achieve, retexturing the T72 with perhaps added child models might be alot easier, remember to try and portray the regular army, the average joes rather than the best tech etc.

Yes, I thought about that, and maybe, I should get the regular T-64E modification, not the Oplot MBT.
