Default Cleaning up resources on start

Two days ago I played PR just fine. Yesterday I just watched Netflix and did some random design projects. Today I cannot even start PR. It goes by the verifying files and launching game. Then nothing. Until it tells me it is quitting and cleaning up resources.

Since I know about Google I searched for it and found several possible solutions here. So here's what I have tried.

1. Rebooting.
2. Downloading some RendDX9 and replacing in vanilla.
3. Verifying and checking the BF2 files.
4. Renaming profile folders and loading profile again.
5. Lower resolution and windowed mode.
6. Lower sound settings.
7. Disabling overlays.
8. Running absolutely everything as administrator.
9. Disabled firewalls on computer and router.
10. Disabling secondary screen.

I am still not able to even launch the game. I am too tired to re-install the game today. But I am trying that tomorrow. I just would like to know if there is anything I have overlooked here.

You've done most of what I can recommend. But try this:

--- Primary Recording: CABLE Output (VB-Audio Virtual
Switch it back to the actual Microphone.

Download and run this:
Download Microsoft .NET Framework Repair Tool from Official Microsoft Download Center
Microsoft .NET Framework Repair Tool

Otherwise I'm as clueless as you are at this point.

Default Re: Cleaning up resources on start

Reinstalled both BF2 and PR. After installation I could start the game once. I thought it was fixed and played some CIV. When I tried now it didn't work any longer.

As of now I am not going to try fixing it. I am going back to the States in two days and getting a computer there now. So I won't be using this machine for a good few months.
