To set it up all you have to do is go Config - settings - UI settings - Tick 'expert config' then go to audio output and put katarns settigs in, and you might have to go to 'plugins' and tick the box at the top

Btw the audio settings at the bottom of the post are significantly better than the ones posted earlier according to our testing.

Ok.

Positive:
Sound Quality Increased
Directional Audio, You can hear in 3D where the person talking to you is in the game. So when Snow was standing behind me I heard him talking from behind me. Alot easier to point out targets and keep track of your squad members without having to pull up the map.
Overlay for everyone
Open source (if you can code c++)


Negative:
No person specific whispers (does have a channel CO system like TS)
Admin Controls are sub par.
No registration = no SA specific rights etc

You guys are using it for different purposes. We're using it for realistic audio (large dropoff over distance), while you guys are using it for positional BF2-like VOIP.

Any server currently using Mumble? I'd like to test it but I don't know what the mumble server is, and wich PR server actually uses it...
I think i've read .:iGi:. but not sure.
