If you are having issues connecting make sure you have the most up to date downloads, they update something almost every day so before you login take a moment to check their download site. Everyone needs to remember this is in alpha stages so you will run into issues, and they will bring the server down for updates even if it's full.

The only real issue I have had is the dsync drama with zombies near. I think it has to do with the way the server shares information with their database because when a lot of people join or die dsync is bound to happen. Also PvP in the dark with flares and pistols while zombies are near is amazingly tense but wears very thin after 10 minutes of creeping in complete black.

They opened a North American server with 50 or so slots, was full when I tried to join so I went onto the Eu server.

looks awesome, but the zombies move a bit too quick. like, gravity defying, insta-turningly quick. they should limit that to normal human speed sprint.

What is .chernarus supposed to mean?
I'm running it with the A2CO command with just DayZ in the mod line

EDIT AGAIN:
Now it shows me the files I've apparently deleted
dayz_code, weapons, equip and vehicles, but I have unzipped those in the addons folder for @dayz so I am confused

EDIT THIRD TIME:
I did some fiddling, and am now back to square one. I can't get into dayz server because I get this
"You can not edit/play this map it is dependent on content that has been deleted.chernarus"
The chernarus message means that you are starting Arrowhead only, and not Combined Operations.

Haha the guy playing this is hilarious. Looks like a decent mod! Putting the finishing touches on a little zombie mish myself, using EHJ's addon.
