On another note I'm hoping you finish this CTRifle. Definitely something that would be interesting to play on

As I said in an earlier post, you could (if possible) add a freezing effect on the sides of the screen Of course, it doesn't add too much to the gameplay, but it's cool =)

What ship will you be using for the Russians invading CFS Alert ? The Kuznetsov ? =D

If you can make some statics to replicate snow banks, or even create snow banks in the editor. but that's difficult that it gives people some places to hide.

@zombie-yellow AFAIK the effect on the screen is not a map related thing. In other words, it is done through the game's python coding rather than the map. However I could be wrong. If that's the case, however, you won't be able to apply that effect.

Is it complicated to make statics ? Or it's "just" a 3D model that you throw in the map ? (obviously not that simple, but something like that).

I can model things with Blender and Maya, but if it comes to code in Python, forget me ! I can make a fake BSOD in Basic with the Command Prompt and that's all xD

Minimap


So this is my basic layout, will probably change, the main thing is that it is a 2km so itll be tight so lots of fun infantry going on.

The settlement on there is not done, just wanted to see where it would put it, and terrain still needs work. Surrounding terrain is about done.

Think 2km will be big enough? Anyway thats it atm still working on it though
