No hip fire is weird imo tho! Why no covering fire when sprinting from cover to cover!

Hm. They've set the bar even higher, money-wise, than Serellan, though. For the full game including co-op, they need 700 000 $ - nowhere close, yet.

Yea the amount surprised me as well!

Hobb: But if you do fire while moving now, you need to aim down the sights, thus slowing you down and making you a huge target when moving from cover to cover. Cant really imagine why you wouldnt fire some rounds down to the enemy from the hip when your moving.

In youtube video's you see them aiming down the sights roughly and squeezing of some rounds. But in real life you can run faster when "aiming". If they implement a sort of sprint button when aiming then it would be the same.

Serellan's Kickstarter was for creating an alpha prototype to get investors who would invest large chunks of money. Ground Branch is already a pre alpha prototype and all the money goes directly to the development of the game so they can finish it. So it's rather hard to compare those two campaigns actually.

Of course! The gameplay you see is pre-alpha footage. Everything still needs attention, redesign etc. If the game was done they wouldn't need Kickstarter in the first place So best thing IMO is not only judge it solely on pre-alpha footage but also on their vision, ideals and features written in the wall of text below the video (on the KS page).

Btw, in the heading about "How will the money be used" on the KS page there is a section about animations as well, so that one is covered.
