I would actually say yes. You should definitely try to fix the problem. Have you made a post in the tech support section?

yes i have and it seems like other people are having the same problem as well, which is that each time i join a server, people can hear me but i can't hear them.

i usually have to spend around 10 minutes restarting mumble until i can finally hear others...in fact i just rage quit from a server after about 25 minutes of restarting mumble (usually the issue clears up in 10 min. but it was being extra un-cooperative today)

Damn, I really want to play this campaign until the end. But I know I won't have the necessary time for team/squad training (maybe I can attend a few) and there's a chance I can miss a battle if work gets in way. Will there be reservists? I can always haul ammo for mortars if needed (I'd love to gun better tho, hehe)!

I don't want to ditch on an opportunity to enjoy PR gameplay in fkn 2016 like the way it's supposed to be played. It's a really rare opportunity these days, sadly.

There is such a thing as a reservist yeah. Players willing to do mortars are pretty highly sought after tbh, its a favoured role for only a small minority
