Hey guys i haven't played in a long while because the population died when i was last on.
I really miss this game, how is the population right now? and also i read that PR2 was "infantry based" does that mean no more vehicle warfare? |

Its relatively fine, ~500 people on at a time, a handful of server choices. The mod itself it super good, plenty of vehicles, weapons, maps and other goodies added on. When did you leave though? PR2 will be mostly infantry until they get more factions and bigger maps, long development time after all..

The one complaint that I have personally is some of the smacktards that cause problems and then blame the server for removing them. The team play aspect has to be relearned or instilled on the ones playing the game do not expect to get very much out of the game if your running around screaming like a 4 year old throwing a tantrum. It will be one of the best games out there ever if people can learn there is nothing that compares to it in every aspect.

You could also take a look at PRSPY. You can use it see live server population.

the team- and squadwork always depends on the people you are playing with. You can still have very boring, and bad rounds. But, just like it was time ago, the good rounds make the game worth to play and make it still the best online-fps ever existed.
I made a break for 2 month, came back, and now I cant stop playing it… again ! ![]() Its always worth to come back to PR! |

Yes.
Since you are in Florida, if I were you try to get on at 1:00pm eastern time- 5:00pm eastern time. That is when the good teamwork is usually occuring. Plus, most players. Except weekends, where it's like 10:00am eastern time-10:00pm eastern time is the best for some teamwork. The weekends usually are where the derpers come on and just screw around. But if you play on the right server you will rarely come into that type of issue. When is the last time you played PR? |

You've been gone almost five years.
PR is a completely different game. I don't think you'll like it. |

I haven't played at all for nearly a year because of being in a quiet timezone and suffering from a bad ping to US servers.
This week however with the family away for a few days I auto updated (2 hours but worked perfectly) and had a few full on days playing. I was pleasantly surprised with the player base finding them in general more teamwork and communication oriented then a year ago. I did a few rounds as CO here and there and once again found squads more co operative then before. So all and all a pleasant surprise and I'll probably try to get on more often now. Thanks for keeping PR going and all the work that continues to go in to it. |
