The artificial zoom is here to substract the distance between your eyes and your screen. The goal is more for giving a decent size to iron sights on the screen than for helping spotting long range...

Those are clips from the Ep VII gathered together in order to match the trailer of the new one. So it's a little bit of cheating ("a little bit" cause the similarities are definitely there anyway).

Some devs already did a bit of work on choppers in the past too. Thing is there's a gap between making some experimentations in BP, and implement a big feature to the game without breaking it.

This is exactly what PR devs are doing (who are "real" modders to you right?), and the mod would have been dead already if it didnt get enough donations per month as it does now.

Yet there's a big difference between DLC and SA: one requires the base game to be bought, the other one doesn't, which is what PS is going to be.

Animations are 100% WIP it's been said many times before. And we dont have any mocap studio as big dev studios like Dice or Ubi, so we're doing what we can with what we have.
