I say Beta test is the answer, like slow turret rotation came in, everyone cried and it was taken back. And when the gunner would start firing the first 10s of rounds would be wasted to know where...

The hull gunner used tracers in real life to correct his aim. So more tracers would be good.
Even with all tracers it won't be easy, the bullet hit will mostly lag the target....

Front Head lights and props, and commander gun turret light have been made.
