It's already pretty obvious wether it's friend or foe just by visual at 30m so I see no reason to reduce it. The way it is now you have a name to go with the guy that you know is a teammate.

Don't know what to tell you. Never had that happen to me or seen anyone complaining about it. The only seats that require a crewman are the driver and gunner.

Twenty shots for two hits? It takes about 2-3 shots against body armor. I hit almost every shot with the slug. The shotguns are awesome.

I got the original files from a friend who hadn't modified his, but it still doesn't work. I still get booted, so your only solution may be to reinstall. Which is what I'm currently doing.
