Both max9 and max2012 have this problem on my win10 PC. Just type in maxscript listener:

f = createFile "xxx"
close f

and I can't delete the file created until I close 3dsmax.

When exporting objects, the .material file failed to be deleted. Is it just I, or everyone who uses this plugin notice this?

All I can do with assimp is just import/export models between bf2 and Blender. I myself is not familiar with Blender, which means for now doing lightmapping in Blender is not possible for me.

About welding vertices, I planned to group all vertices that have the same position together before creating the mesh and hence creating a mesh that have no duplicated vertices. But yeah that's a lot...
