Which army are you modelling this after? MEC is loosely based on combination of several middle-east countries. Looking around a bit the HK33 does not seem to be in active use that much anymore.

BF2 meshes are triangle based, so its best to post the number of triangles to have comparable numbers with existing meshes.

It probably is possible, but all tools also assume that there is not alpha blending on skinnedmeshes and we would have to adjust those as well.

1. Alpha-test works, but that is simply on/off...

Soldiers/kits (Skinnedmeshes in general) do not support partial transparency by default, so it would be some effort to implement that.

Dynamic viewdistance like that is sadly not really possible as the server wont send you any updates for objects outside of the maximum level viewdistance.

This is likely to be irrelevant as the CPU needs to load more textures for the high quality lod than for the lower quality ones. Also for vegetation and terrain the CPU will still check for LOD...

less. Especially the disabling vegetation LOD might cause issues on forest maps for weak GPUs. Terrain and statics should be fine for most users with dedicated graphics card. Those with integrated...
