I read there it does simplify the rotating mechanism a lot compared to the Osprey, but why the open gaps for stuff to fly into? It looks like you'd need to cover that up against particles etc. blown...

Iirc he achieved most of those things via exe hacking, so while possible I think it would be a lot of difficult work to implement for every applicable weapon in PR. It's superb work for sure though!
