a lot of guys in the Star Citizen Universe come from games like WoW or other MMOs and have played Freelancer or WingCommander in the past and maybe once in their lifes touched CoD or Battlefield.

why is there so much grey texture on the minimap ? you expect there to be a mountain or sth else but there is just grass. if its supposed to be dry grass i would use a more brown/yellow color.

soldiers clipping slightly through your seats wont be that noticeable especially because the players are not facing each other as on other trucks.
just do your model, the person that will code it...

yeah would be good the outer polys of your frame would be covered by the canvas and can possibly cause z-fighting.

open up an existing model in BfMeshView.
maybe try the AAVP, the Stryker and the french VAB for reference.
The German/British MAN truck should be up-to-date aswell in therms of model quality.
