This isn't new. It would still crash BF2 in certain circumstances since the beginning. We just added a check for it with a cleaner PR Launcher warning for some cases.

That is just how UVs work I'm afraid.

You can try to use something like substance painter to paint by mesh.

AFAIK secondary terrain should be 8bit depth and resolution+1 (ex. 257x257 and not 256x256).

For primary it's 16bit IBM PC depth and resolution+1 (ex. 1025x1025 and not 1024x1024).

VPS have been known to cause connection stability issues for players. Best to get dedicated server.

In terms of networking you need about 1gbps afaik.

Your processor should be high single...

You just need the resolution on your you driver to start the game. You don't need to actually use it in PR settings.

Exclamation warning 1320 / DynamicOption 800x600 Crash

If you experience this warning or the crash related to 'unknown DynamicOption value 800x600', it means that your graphics card (GPU) does not support the required resolution of 800x600 to start...

When you say re-textured, what do you mean exactly? Swap textures? Did you alter UVs? Did you re-export? Did it alter LM UVs?
