Sure you don't have the 'import helpers' ticked? Otherwise objects needs to be extracted from zips for Max to import them.

Some flag layouts like Jabal and Dragon Fly have been changed for v1.6, haven't heard anything on that yet.

You might as well clone the entire map then replace the carrier, it'll make managing lightmaps easier.

You should open an existing heightmap with correct settings, edit it and then save. At least that's the way I know to edit and save heightmaps successfully.

There is no 'lashkar faction', it's the same faction as conventional maps.

In vBF2, the ghillie suit kit geometry for sniper has transparency and kit geoms are skinnedmesh, so seems possible.

Edit it, alternatively go NavMesh\work\ *your map name* \GTSData\debug\islands\vehicle, pick the largest file and copy that as vehicle.obj in \GTSData\output

Are you sure your navmesh is only one island? Both the infantry and vehicle one? Have you edited them?
