Couldn't watch the Japan vs Netherlands game despite wanting to.

But I did see the second half of the Slovakia vs Italy game. Man.... that was a nice game. Very entertaining.

The Slovakians played a really awesome game 'though they did got quite some luck as well. Now they'll be facing Netherlands in the Round of 16. That's gonna be a tough match since the dutch have been doing great.

Tomorrow ends the Group stage. Brazil versus Portugal.... definitively a match loaded with portuguese. ;)
North Korea versus Côte d'Ivoire..... Meh the Norks are already out and by far. Portugal made sure of that.
Chile versus Spain and finally Honduras versus the Land of Neutrality.

this is kind of bad day to the european football...
england also have played very badly.
thank god that we have germany and holland still!!!

germany is a very young and unexperienced team, i can tell this without being an soccer expert. just think of all the injured "veterans".
and this it was noticeable in the matches.
only team that looked rly strong for me was netherlands.
so its all about the spirit that habits in one team on the day of the match.
would be no surprise when there will be more surprises.

the World Cup so far is exactly like WW2. France and Italy
surrender early, the Yanks come in late, Japan get a suprise victory and the English face off against
the Germans.

Dont you worry in WW II the Italians marched all the way to leningrad and retreated because there was no Hitler to insist they stay unlike with the whermacht command and the Russians arent even invovled.

They would have to play the former comonwealth and USA at the same time though. And everybody else and who have you. Russia isn't even in it.

Edit:
