While he certainly didn't deserve his second yellow card, I can't say it wasn't amusing. I was actually hoping there was going to be a fight.

looks like it, but we euros said the same thing about holland for two years ago they where dancing through most of their wins, playing marvelous football until they met the bear.

@eddie France lost their absolutely best player through time when Zinedine Zidane quitted, I would say that he got France to the world cup final in 2006.

Well it wasnt Zidane who scored against Brazil. I am not even sure if he was involved.

Who scores are not the matter its the work before that leads to the goals, be it if he touched the ball before the goal, just having him on your team as he was in WC2006 should be enough IMO. Most experts will say that Zidane was the best player of the world cup in 2006 except for his headbutt, some will also say he saved Domenech's ass, because the fact is there have not been much greatness about France's play after 2006.

Indeed, but our epic fail in 2008 should have been a good motive to fire Domenech. The Italians fired Donadoni although they at least went to the quarters...

The French Federation didn't because of money...they would have to pay million euros...and now, another epic fail happens.

Players have not been trained today and don't give a shit about the last match...(yes, because it's certain we'll not win this one)

But well, there is no reason to speak of this, I would rather discuss about the other teams matches where they do play football.

I sincerely hope that Laurent Blanc, the next trainer, will improve a lot of things.

Edit : I'm sad about the Irish, if they had won, all this mess wouldn't have happened and they would enjoy their world cup, not like us.
