Hello everyone and welcome to an audio dev blog!
It's been a while since the last time there was an audio blog. Here's a minor update to showcase some of the firing sounds you will hear in the next patch for the FG 42, M1 Garand and L4 Bren.

FG 42

Thanks to Partisan for permission to use his sounds, the FG42 firing sounds were a great replacement for the current ones which used the K98 firing sounds as a placeholder.

Additionally, the FG42 deploy and reload sounds will be updated and timed to better match the deploy and reload animations.

M1 Garand

Although the M1 Garand's firing sound was realistic, it sounded somewhat bassy like a cannon. This has been updated with new firing sounds:



L4 Bren

Lastly, the L4 Bren light machine gun. It now has indoor firing sounds to do it more justice. Currently WIP, so expect improvements.
